Sound of Silence

It was recently pointed out that a channel called The Cover Heaven on YouTube includes The Sound of Silence as performed by Jetpack.  This song was always intended to be the album closer.  It's a weird idea that just gets weirder verse by verse until BAM- album over. Don't get the wrong idea- it was recorded as seriously as anything else on that album- and when we listened to the finished product we had a good laugh and moved on.  We never thought it would go on to earn a five-star review from the most respected surf music site.  They predicted it would be the "hit of the album"- this goofy little thing.  There's probably a lesson in there somewhere about how not taking your art too seriously can be a good thing... or something.   Anyway...enjoy!
